In today's episode we continue our series on Plato and the philosophy of government by investigating the themes associated with the Hindu concept of the Kali Yuga. The goal here is to relate these themes back to the various historical patterns we've been tracking in this series, including the rise of debt, empire, oligarchy, materialism, and secularism. As we'll see, these themes align not only with the "archetype of Atlantis", but also with the ancient Hindu teachings regarding the Kali Yuga.At the very end of this episode we explore the question of when the Kali Yuga is set to come to an end and whether that auspicious event might take place in the 21st century.
