Alex Bushman is the Co-Founder of We Gave What, the philanthropic arm of We Wore What which has a massive social media presence. They’re based in New York City and they share charitable initiatives and also raise awareness for small businesses. It all started in the beginning of Covid when Danielle Bernstein, the Founder of We Wore What, wanted to use her platform to help and support small businesses and people in need. Her and Alex teamed up and they’ve been making an impact ever since. Alex’s greatest inspiration in starting this was seeing so many people come together to love and support each other during this pandemic. It connects to exactly how she felt as we came together as a country after 9/11.
