Sounds extreme, but bias is something many jobseekers say they are concerned about, whether it is ageism, sexism, classism or racism.  So how do you deal with biases and discrimination in the recruitment process? I had a conversation on exactly this topic with Virginia Franco, a leading resume writer based in North Carolina, which is being replayed in this Sonologue. I also believe there are two types of people, when it comes to careers: Complainers and ObtainersComplainers blame their problems on everyone or everything else, yet take no action to fix their situation. Obtainers accept their challenges, embrace them, act on them and overcome them. This holds also for how you deal with Bias.
