45.Love Yourself Beyond Hard Things: 3 Ways To Be Resilient

from The Redlo Woman Podcast | Empowering Midlife Female Entrepreneurs · host Terri Mullen

I believe resilience is one way to love ourselves better. When we are resilient, we rise up, bounce back, and Step Forward with our lives. We don't stay stuck in the muck of defeat, doubt, fear, or negativity. We forge ahead through muddy and uncharted waters, even when we are afraid and uncertain.   In my book, Step Forward, I use shoes as metaphors. The Resilient Rainboots are one of those metaphors I used to step forward and love myself more. I jumped in with both feet, let things bounce off of me, cared less about what others thought, and worried less.  When you go through hard things, you don't have time to care what others think or get caught up in drama. It forces you to set boundaries and quickly let go of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and approval. In this episode, I share 3 tips to help you be more resilient!
