Niki’s story is far from typical as she went to prison charged as an adult at 15 years old. Niki would be released 4 years later to re-start her life and her education. First, Niki would pursue a career in the medical field, but things did not go as planned. After some disappointments, she would end up finding the trucking industry by way of a $5,000 freight brokerage training course, which unfortunately left Niki with a lack of knowledge, resources and questions . With no experience, but a ton of hustle and determination, Niki ventured out on her own and started her company, NR Swanks freight brokerage. Amazingly, Niki was able to reach 6 figures in her first 6 months of business and to date she has built relationships with over 300+ carriers.
