#45 Raison d'être

In this new episode of season 6, Meeks takes a circuitous route from an MIT Entrepreneurship event led by Bill Aulet, Managing Director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship at MIT, to the current and dire state of medical and financial freedom in the globe, and drops in on the old Roman Republic rights of the people, to tease this idea of our reason for existence. Building on previous episodes that explored "purpose" and "identity," this podcast places the French term "raison d'être" in the school of epistemological thought. In other words, "why are you here?" to quote the movie Gladiator. Do you live to be entertained or for pleasure or is there a Kantian morality, nay a Christian imperative, or reason for being?
