Why do the powers that be want to prevent people from taking to the streets? it's because they want to censor the conversation by funnelling it to the channels that they control i.e BBC, fb, google etc. If socialism is a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
