70-year-old woman, mother, and grandmother Dorothy Donovan was found brutally stabbed to death in her bedroom in June of 1991. Her son Charles Holden had discovered her in the middle of the night and was immediately brought to police headquarters for questioning. Charles was the likely suspect; a man in debt who was the beneficiary of Dorothy’s life insurance policy.
