45. The only place she ever felt like she belonged was pulled like a rug from beneath her, £80k down and she's still no closer to getting back in

It happens to many, yet not many people talk about it. Linda Bonnar had been living in New York for 7 years. She describes it as the first place she ever felt as though she truly belonged. It was her home. Until one day, it was taken from her. She had been visiting her home Country, Ireland, about the run the Dublin Marathon, whilst sorting out the final tick boxes for her VISA, when she received the news that she would not be allowed to go home.
