451: Quantum Leap 2022. Oh Boy!

from Regular Joes Podcast

A while back The Regular Joe's sifted through this season's network TV offerings and settled on just a single show to try. This year the network folks tasked with endlessly revisiting decades old air schedules in hopes of breathing new life into an old show or premise have finally gotten around to Quantum Leap. While the original series (1983-1989) was not exactly high art, it did have a unique premise. Which this successor can't claim. Does it live up to the original? Can it stand on its own? Can a cast of attractive, racially and gender balanced characters get us to actually care? The new trailer for Wakanda Forever is out, and there's a whole lot going on there. The Joe's dig in and try to make sense of this latest peek at what is now reported to be Marvel's second longest film, soon to grace a multiplex ear you. And because, random happens, there's also a fairly epic chunk of random topics. Thanks for listening!
