451 The Lament

We @TheCottage explore how the ancient people of the Bible to whom God was speaking understood the Scriptures to show us how God was speaking to them yet communicating to them revelation for all of us even today even if in their context. In this session, we begin a new journey into the biblical lament. Desperate times call for desperate measures. When God's people faced uncertainty and terrible times, they also learned to face God and call out to him for salvation whether for corporate concerns or individual woes. They stood together to seek God's help and seek his healing. Join us in the lament. We are laying the foundation to discovering the riches hidden in the ancient Scriptures of God's people to learn God's way of doing and being in our daily lives. Stay tuned for our future episodes as we continue to discover more mysteries of the Bible in the sessions that follow.
