This year we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Star Trek and we start it all off with the first movie, Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979)! We talk about the great special fx that were done under a time crunch, the new uniforms lacking color, and the perhaps boring side of this film even given the grandeur of seeing the Enterprise explore space on the big screen.
