46 | ✝️ "Church people" and trauma

In the final of three talks, Beau Armistead and I discuss “church people” and trauma. The church should be the safest place for hurting people to go. Many times, it’s not… … and that’s not necessarily because “church people” are bad. Rather, it’s because we don’t train people in the church to address soul health— any more than we train them to deal with physical health. 🤷‍♂️   We are all spirit, soul, and body… … and each part, though connected and interrelated, matters. 🧩   To achieve total wholeness, we need training on addressing all three parts.
