Welcome to No Falls Just The Clap. I am Deb, Doug is sitting next to me. Hello. This is going to be a Riff-pastic episode of No Falls Just The Clap, because Deb and Doug don't get anything done anymore.

Well, I got a lot done, which is why I had a lot done. Well, here's the thing. You get a lot done, that means you haven't taken a lot in. And I apparently just don't do anything anymore.

Welcome back to, I realized that my reading versus writing output was off, and I'm fond of the saying that if you write more than you read, you're a hack. You know what I actually completely agree. Yes, and it was one of those I was trying to write a lot, and I'm like, you know what I'm taking a lot in, so I made a conscious effort that when I went to bed every night, I would read. Like, I usually do.

Instead of taking around my phone, like, I was usually doing. Well, here's the thing that when you read before you go to sleep, does it keep you up? No. Because I can't read before I go to sleep.

If it's something that's interesting enough, that it will keep me awake. I need to read something that has enough plot that I like it, but not enough plot that I'm going to stay awake, because I want to know what happens. Hence the bodice rickers. No, I- I mean, I'll just get tired.

And if I read in the middle of the day, I will find myself getting tired while I read, because my brain's like, oh, you're reading it must be the end of the day. I'm saying I'm not working like that. Like I said, it's interesting. Like, when I read gun machine, I stayed out and finished that book.

No, gun machine had really good breaks because of the way the word describes- Well, it's set up in time, because there was set up in kind of acts. Yes, and pretty much I could- whatever jumped to a different perspective from John Tallow or the- was it under? That's what- I'm kind of going to stop and go, okay, this is going to jump perspective, then I will, you know, do this part next tomorrow. See, this is also interesting, because you don't have a tablet.

So sometimes when I read books on my tablet, I will start dosing off and hit myself in the nose. Ow. No, no, I'm not up in your kid curtains, sorry. Oh, I am.

I've only done it twice, but then I learned my lesson, but still. No, I, uh, no, I- I- I- I- I- I've gone back to read, um, I've got a pile of books to get through, so we'll be talking about it more and more as I get through them, but I'm just about done with, uh, Czech Polyniks, um, the second piece of his trilogy, um, which started with Dan, uh, and then it's now doomed. What's the last one? Have they titled it yet?

No, I have no idea. Um, uh, Chuck- Chuck and I kind of- wouldn't stop talking, but I mean, we kind of fell away from the- the regular, um, indications we have. It's happened with, um, you know, you- you've already talked about the big three. Um- Don't start thinking about this, thank you.

Well, it's Robert De Niro told me. Yeah, the fact. Um, that right was a Barbara Starring's hand. No, um, that's not sure I wouldn't hang out with her.

Um- Come on. Why don't you get to like some stories? I just want to talk to James Brolin about Josh Brolin and then, like, but talk to Barbara Starring's hand about like her reaction like the South Park stuff. Like, that would be it.

That would not- that wouldn't even care. Um, I- she's just a celebrity that holds no, wouldn't say value, um, but like, in real world, or in real life value to make. Probably for Frolin talking about that, maybe the Rurf's first. Yeah, I seem to have- Yeah, I seem to have- Like- Then we can talk about beaches.

Well, I've actually seen that with her live. Uh, fun- fun note for when it starts editing my Wikipedia page. Um, that was the first time I saw a transvestite or transgender. Okay.

I'm gonna need some more background for it. Well, my mom took me because this was at the age where I would go to shows with my mom. So, uh- Seven? Uh, this was probably extremely early double digits.

Okay, so more than 10 or 11? Uh, probably 12. Yeah, like 11 or 12. Yeah, just about the time when I'm starting to kind of look at girls, but I haven't really had no waking quite yet.

And, uh- So you just say that, but I like to think I was standing with her, always talking about discovering the scared son girls, and the boys being almost like animals like we wanted to know what was under the scaric- Ohhhh! He's going under the scaric- Yeah. Well, as almost a companion piece to the ass or her rebuttal. So, my mom and I walking through to go to door at seats, and a- Airquotes woman walks by- I'm gonna try that directly and I'm just in a cross dresser.

Yeah, but my point is that it wasn't a woman. Wox bias. My head immediately follows her. And my mom, very nice, it just goes, and I, like, mind blown, when I was like, what do you mean?

It was wearing a dress. Like, it was wearing girl clothes. I don't understand. And that was.

That's your memory? And then my mom's as a huge gay following. Like, there's going to be transvestites and transgender and no sexual issues. Did you just have a pet and I was walking over it?

Because I totally did. We. Clowns being transvestites and stuff. Leave him alone, honey.

That's his thing. That's his life choice. But go ahead and take his laugh. Cool.

You would have taken my kid? Leave him alone, honey. That's his choice. No, I mean, I didn't, like, follow the question.

No, no, no. What's up with that? I didn't realize he was psycho. Yeah, I was going to say it.

And yeah. So what's the deal? What cross dressing? So that's my bedminton story.

Of course, I have one. I realize you have a bedminton story. Well, this is going to be my game. And her show is very risque.

There's a lot of boobs, a lot of dirty humor. I mean, there's a lot of fun. But it was one of those things I had to age where I was laughing. And it was really guilty that I was laughing.

Where it's like, oh, I'm by my mom. Should I? You know, that makes me think of the scene in that 70s show, where Eric goes to see Annie Hall with his mother. OK, with him.

It's super awkward. And at some point, she makes a joke about seeing a flawless boobs for one night. Eric just gets so awkward and uncomfortable. Yeah.

Is that about that? Yeah. Yeah. It was just one of those words like, oh.

So this is happening. Yep. Which one? I mean, I'd love to talk about the one I think should be up.

Yep. Yeah. Like I said, I was thinking about it. I'd much rather talk about it than Mark's dress.

Yeah, it's funny, actually. Why do we end up in these conversations? How do these things happen? I was going to say, how do we get from hating cars from Will Ferrell?

But we'll talk about that in a second. I do want to say, weirdly enough, I did have a conversation last night with the sports boys about the members of Tool. And how I really wouldn't want to talk to their singer Maynard. I would have nothing to say to him.

I would not. He owns a vineyard. It actually puts out halfway piece of wine. I have to admit, I enjoyed it because it hurt greatly.

Apparently his wine is when you say half good, that ultimately it's half bad. That's what I've heard. Yeah. It's not that.

It's not great. But I went to a drum clinic that Darry, Danny Carey was asked. I met him. He was a very, very nice man.

He's a nice guy. Running into someone who's like, what are you doing here? You don't play drums. I'm like, yeah, it's fucking Danny Carey.

Like he's just rad. Oh, because I know, super nice man. I met him randomly once. He was just so humble and kind.

Yeah, and he's great. And I would love to talk to him about like Green Jell-O. Like I'm sorry, Green Jell-O for legal reasons. Thank you.

Now we're singing in my head. You bitch. Which one? Little pickle.

No. I was going to let you Carly House love when I was stuck in my head. But anything off of this Yule Tuller soundtrack is basically for that Sex Me Teenage raid where the guy's on the wheel. He's like, spin me, spin me.

Alright, stop. I'm going to puke. Oh, good lord. Anyway, so I'm going to talk to Adam Jones about his time on working on Trimeter II and his background special facts.

And then I'm like, what about me? And I'm like, I don't know what I, like I don't even care where he comes up with his lyrics. I'm just like, well, you're doing what you do. I don't care where it comes from.

I'm going to tell you, you know, I write and I know writers who they get that question. Like where do your ideas come from? Well, I do the same thing to you though. Where I'll get an idea that almost springs fully formed into my head.

And I have no idea where it comes from. They'll immediately start texting you or call you and just kind of vomit this idea all over you. I mean, you could go as obtusely as Alan Moore's idea space and the like thought storms. But then people have similar thoughts at the same time.

I always think of that as a word of collective consciousness. Yes, or unconscious or subconsciously. the whole like sometimes like datum a it's datum b it's datum c that all just it's um I myself Jock done a lot of my dreams and then go well that's really neat now. Where can I take another unconscious except for that part where I work this morning I knew that I decided to wait values to my pillows Excuse me?

Yeah, wait values. Like like grams? Pounds they had the way 25 pounds. Sorry, sorry.

They had 25 pounds and it was uh we've 19 and 16 pounds? Yeah, no 9 and 16 pounds. Yeah, they I don't know why I can't remember. But I do remember the dream I had where I was a cop and I my jurisdiction was to stop cartoon animals from performing visually lewd oral acts on balloons.

It's actually good. They had to what we were talking about before we started recording. What's the name of the commission? Uh, Enthromorphobia.

Which is? Uh, the fear of finding human characteristics in non-human objects. Thanks Bruce Sterling. So I was telling you totally thought the story was going to go into a completely different way.

I was telling my little sister has a friend who has a case of this and she absolutely loads the movie cars. I didn't even think about how that would affect someone. Like I know okay if you're uh, um, where they called uh, uh, people I don't like cooking. Um, I'm not a member of those.

I understand that. But to be like I don't like the cars in cars because they're not cars. Yeah. Like I understand that though that things should be things and people should be people.

What about Transformers? They're robots in disguise. What about just get rid of that around robots? Well I'd have to ask her probably.

Because I mean robots by their nature are human-esque I would imagine. No most robots do a function that humans can't afford. Right. Or that you know like if you were to take the Bible.

Um, you know you say that man was pretty like- Ask Bible. Whoa. What? Sorry I've been watching that good night.

Uh. Juicy Kangles. Sorry guys. I totally said uh, Kinkle and Chubby's as we were talking about.

The Kinkle and Chubby's? Oh, I thought that conversation. Yeah. Though interesting I might pose this to you.

What do you call a group of people? What do you call a group of straight people? Well, panic-inducing for me but- But group of gay people who didn't say what? Any group of people was panicking the same for you.

Gay straight doesn't matter. Nope. Purple robots. I don't even imagine being more comfortable around gay men.

Um, I mean not- not because I'm uncomfortable with their lifestyle. No, no, I said I'm not going to be more comfortable around gay men because there's like- I wouldn't say no sexual tension but there's no expectation of you to be interested in vice versa. My problem is I'm- unless I knew them really well where I knew kind of where the lines were drawn in terms of humor. Okay.

That's where I can- it's where I was like- I'd be like so. Cock. And they'd be like yeah, maybe like okay. One of us I thought would giggle.

Sorry. You're trying to tell me if I say boner, you're not going to laugh a little? I didn't then. I didn't.

I think I thought it was real with the permanent erection. Uh, should we actually get us a whiteboard? Yes. So, you know I'm a big fan of Thor too.

You said you're pinpointed but you didn't like it on your rewatch. Well we talked a little bit about- we've always kind of uh- uh- flirted with the- at the edge of that you would talk about that you liked Thor too more than Thor one. Yeah. Oh, so we're like- you like Dark World over Thor and I don't know if you want to say it.

Thor's like Thor one at a time. Or a Dark World 2. It's gonna say the first Thor. Hammer of True.

Well I caught my face. Um, but I caught my boner. Ha ha ha, you know what happened? No, not.

Anyways. Um, I'm- I'm trying to- I love it. Uh... So, I just, I don't know.

There's always been things that I'm gonna prioritize watching versus what we've already seen. Yeah. I thought I might be your mother over and just find kind of waiting for me. You can get it through your massive pile of big bang.

Oh my all six seasons of big bang. Which, by the way, Brenda Debts' character transitions were literally flawless. But uh... She's also hilarious.

Oh, she's great. But she starts out really quiet and meek. And by the end of it, she's almost eyeballical and sometimes loud and you're like, when did that happen? When she met Howard's mother.

Yes. And also, I love that they've made her overly competitive, so you never want to play games with her now because she's so obsessed with winning, but she's vicious and cruel. I just like her dad's always funny. I never thought that.

Yeah. Guess how many bodies are there? It's a joke, it's a fraction. It's a trick question, it's a fraction.

I don't know if you've seen one of the newer episodes and she's like, I did something at work, but she's either in a horrible mix up or it makes me a terrible monster. Yeah, when she's talking about the message and the get well-tuned card, she thought it was a fighting card. You deserve this. It's like she got hit by a car or something, she might have looked through the diagnosis.

Yes, good luck wherever you end up. I had to pause this line because I was a couple of weeks ago. I'm sorry, back to Thor and Mark world. Yes, so I ended up with everything kind of ending and over the time.

I'm a little breeder. Yeah. I watched Thor too. We'll see.

We'll see. We'll see. We'll see what's on the heels of Captain America and your soldier in Tothase II and giving up for Spiderman and maybe let him not marvel. Apparently, oh, we've moved him.

Oh, I don't Spiderman. Yeah. I'm sorry. Who?

Spiderman. Spiderman. Spiderman. Spiderman.

Spiderman. Spiderman. Spiderman. I keep trying to like Spiderman.

It's not good. It doesn't look. It's like Split. Yeah, we're kind of to be terrible too.

Yeah. It's only looks like the Gown Syndrome. Then it would be like Spiderman. Oh.

Should I throw it to the world? Did you say that almost goes through? I did. Oh my God.

It's there. It's there. It's a turmeric. Mermur.

Mermur. I'm definitely okay. I'm like, I got a bit of a good look at the turmeric. The turmeric.

The turmeric. The turmeric. The turmeric. The turmeric is burping.

It makes me laugh every time. So I like the turmeric world. The turmeric. The turmeric.

The turmeric. It's something to take a big one. So this is a really just loose episode. I'm sorry.

I'm so tired. You know when the conversation starts with Whippet Out, let's do this. No, let's take a couple shots and do this. I meant the microphone, but still.

Right. You did that. Wasn't it? It's Mack.

So watch the work. Here, I've always talked about there was something that just didn't sit right with me. Something that brought you from right here. Yeah.

And I figured out what it was. I was watching it. This is something I brought up. I believe I could go back and listen to the old episodes.

I believe I brought this up when we first came up with theirs. It was just kind of eerie to think about how I've been doing this. It was that they moved Asgard from being this mythic, like, Olympus to being an alien world. And that they're fucking aliens.

I remember that's right. It's because they weren't gods anymore. It's because they were aliens in that volume. Well, and I didn't like all of this, like, sci-fi elements in Thor 2 versus I really liked.

Even though they were literally fantastic, they were fantasy elements, that they seemed to ground it in. Like, okay, this is Asgard. These are kind of the laws this world operates in. This one was like, well, here's this fantasy world.

And then Doctor Who's an elf who has a spaceship. And I'm like, what the fuck is going on? And Chris Egglson re-watching it does a great job. I really liked it.

I liked him. I liked him. I liked the first Thor better. It seemed more, I don't want to say in character, but in the vein of Thor and Shakespeare and his father and son and brother, you know, it's more about the characters.

And it was... It's like, no, is this the Loki normally? It's a good book. When I first did a reveal of Innovate costume instead of like jeans and a t-shirt.

To, uh, to, uh, to Madeline Porter's picture. Yeah, yeah. Um, I mean, I re-watched it. I liked the cliffhanger ending of just Loki on the throat.

How everybody loves Loki. Um, I'm a gurr. It's there. I loved when Thor goes down to talk to Loki about like the escape plan.

And he's like, oh, you know, do you think it really helped me? He goes, cut the bullshit, get rid of the illusion, and it cuts to Loki. This destroyed cell. When his feet are bleeding, like he's been walking on all the broken stuff and he looks so distraught and he's like, you know, if you can't trust me, trust my rage.

Well, I also liked the previous scene of that when his mother died. Like I said, you don't hear anything at all. It was the- it was the- the- the- the silent scream type thing. Yeah, I was gonna say the shockwave coming off him and stalling everything.

And there's a- there's a beat of just him walking away where you're like, what a cold bastard. Oh! Oh! Yeah.

Um, so that- and that three different episode of being like what, with the weapon five? So, Kent did him just really couldn't have that. Uh, yeah. I liked when she says her friend, Eric, with animals.

Um, and she was super funny in the- and she had an intern, which I thought was hilarious. Like, is that super funny in the opening scene where she surprises her on her tape with the guy from the IT crowd? It's fun for Fred. Uh, Chris O'Dow.

Yeah, I was gonna say Chris O'Dow, who's still funny in the IT crowd. Also really funny in this movie. Mm-hmm. Seabass.

Seabass. Seabass. Okay, that's- I now- yeah, um, and I like that there was that scene where she finds her cell phone and she calls him and she's like, wait, how we get reception? And he's like, oh, so maybe she did her?

And she's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, Thor's like, who's Jim? How did you do with Chris Elsward voice when you stayed that? Who's- I can't- it has accents a little muddled in Thor, but um- Oh, that's okay. Uh, one thing I liked it- but I didn't like- like Marvel has- doesn't have a great track record, and there's only two movies that have done it.

Combining two genres, and one is, you know, I've talked about it before with Captain America, combining the science fiction elements with World War II, which I didn't think worked the way it could. And I've got examples like Trigon and Firefly, or always went to go to for the way to combine Western and sign- You know what I'm doing with Captain America too, where they're doing a superhero movie, combining the political thriller, and it's fantastic. Exactly, but that's my thing is with Captain America 1 and Thor 2, they kept trying to combine this science fiction element, and I'm like, you could have kept the fantastic elements of Asgard and the nine realms, um, and not- the things that they poked so many holes in like, you know, were just like humans, or you know, it opens us up, we're just like humans, and look, he goes, yeah, except that we don't give her take 5000 years of life span, and I'm like, god damn it's- like no, they're fucking gods. The only thing that's gonna kill them is Ragnarok.

I saw a wrap up that thought with 1.1, which is you actually found the everything cool pair of leggings online. They were- The Loki Pokepans? They're not Loki Pokepans, they're Loki helmet pants. Like I said, I wish they made them in green but Loki Poke stick, but they don't.

Unfortunately they're in gold, and I don't look at the cool ones. I really, uh, immediately thought of you. I- I always wear leggings, like you always wear these great leggings, and um- No, you know, accessories with Fletcher himself. The medical or bracelet, that's horrible.

You also have a pretty terrible tattoo on that wrist. Yeah, it's not a big medical or bracelet cover. Maybe you should start wearing those hipster leather pups. Those are in hipster.

Those are like, uh, Bar-dush-circuit 2003. It's like that- Gukish on necklaces. That's Shepard in the front of the morning. Yeah.

Okay, moving on. How much of- uh, Cougar down have you got? Oh no, I'm through with both of these things. The one where, uh, Grayson teaches um- Oh, the picking up girls- Cause I think he's like, he's like, I better get my leather bracelet back out.

Yeah, it teaches him how to name. Yeah. Ellie and, um, her bulb-cubin husband. Who did you like?

Did he leave the mayoral- like, office? I don't remember that happening. Uh, I'm not that- He was a mayor and then all of a sudden he was like back into finances. Or I'm like, wait, what?

I don't- okay. No, cause remember he wasn't the mayor when she was trying to get married over the beach. Was that fourth season? Yeah, the third season was him being a mayor.

Yeah, okay. Okay. Now, Edward, so you watched the news down at that mayor? I did.

I did. I did. It's the new DC anime in which we- if you're a regular listener or you just know me, I'm a huge fan of DC anime and stuff. Um, once again we- This is a couple weeks ago, I believe, um, maybe a month ago we talked about the last Marvel anime that I was like, ehhh.

Yeah, you're less than a pro- yeah. Um, this is based on the Grant Morrison and I want to say either Andy or Adam. I don't remember which one, Kubrick. Um, son of Batman storyline.

Um, which by the way, has a giant bat ninja or man bat ninja, so that's always fun. And very Grant Morrison. Man bat ninja. Man bat ninja.

Man bat ninja. Man bat ninja. Man bat ninja bat. Um, obviously off air, uh, no less than two members of Fire Player on the Boy's Cast.

Um, you've got- I guess I should like the premise that we know, like, I mentioned characters for no reason. Basically what happened was, in the 80s, um, there was a story called, uh, you know, I remember the name of the story on the left on the head, but it was only a couple issues where basically, um, while Batman was kept prisoner by Raja Ghul, he was drugged and then it's simply raped by Talvia. Um, and that didn't jive well with the editorial staff. You see the time that, well, this isn't canon.

Um, Grant Morrison went taking over Batman, went through Batman's whole, uh, bibliography, um, and it kind of picked some of the weird stuff, like the sensory deprivation tank, and the hallucinogenic, uh, psychiatric stuff which I read, um, in some, um, compendiums, but uh, one of them was he found this and he went, why isn't this canon? And they go, well, no, it was just weird and he goes, no, it's pretty awesome. He takes it and goes, I'm making it canon. And basically, Batman has had an illegitimate song with Talia Ghul.

He doesn't know about him. Um, Talia gives birth to his raised, um, for like 10 to 12 years, whatever it is, being trained by the League of Assassins under his grandfather, Raja Ghul. And then in the comics, I believe what happens is, um, um, Talia goes, okay, you've learned kind of our side of things, now we're your father's side, and he just, she goes, you got Bruce, you have a kid, Thunk, um, um, and Roxas went, and uh, you know, it's his color, his name's his name's his name's Tempr by the Bat Family, and there's a great scene where, um, he kinda picks a fight with the Bat, uh, Robin Tindrake, and uh, and Tindrake's like, oh great, my half brothers, like, Satan himself, like what the fuck, um, you know, and everyone in the Bat family's like, he's kind of a psycho, and I'm like, what's his trainer? Um, Satan's becoming the new Robin for a while, Damien Wayne.

Uh, just so you know, while Damien, I'm probably already, um, everybody I've told about the Bat, when the O'Lasta Wheel joke and Joker got away for the exact same reaction I did. We all would like to know how long you've been sitting on that joke. No, that was in the healing moment. You're a pastor.

Um, let me get through this, we'll use that to explain that joke, and then move on. Uh, uh, um, in this one, uh, basically Deathstroke was going to be the heir to the League of Assassins, uh, Raish kicked him out, like his mother's Damien, and basically Deathstroke decimates League, and Tally is like, well, they'll be safe with their father, uh, so far, so, uh, Larry and Sue. Damien and Wayne. And, um, so you have, like I said, uh, I'm gonna butcher their names.

That's okay. Um, Marina McCaring, uh, Seem, whatever, uh, Inara from Firefly's Talil Ghul. Um, you got Jason Mira as Batman, and I can't think of what he's from, I think of my piece of Supernatural, I'm not sure. Um, but he's kind of the new, he's kind of the new Kevin Conroy Batman.

He seems to be popping up on being Batman a lot. Um, no. Um, um, I'm gonna get in here. Oh, uh, Sean Maher, who was Simon Tam, from Firefly, and Shrapnel from Arrow.

Um, I say Wes, because he got blown up. Um, well, if he was actually made of the Medal of Legends in the comics, you'd be re-consed. It was made of metal, would be the Tim Man. No, he just made like all of metal, like he was, uh, you could like, re-con through it himself.

Can you like the Doctor from Hellboy? The Doctor? Oh, the, uh, the clockwork, standing. Oh, God, he was bam.

He was winding himself up, and they don't notice that blade. I, I listened to the, the Mike and Mola, um, Nerdist, and it was just, uh, transcended being that, you know how much I love Mike and Mola. Um, um, I love tellboy, both of them. Uh, so Sean Maher, uh, please, Mike, Maine, you have, um, one's really much of the name.

Is it, maybe you might know it's Gian Carlo, or Cam Carlo, Esposito. Do you know the name? You know who Fring is? From Breaking Bad?

Oh, okay, sorry. Uh, he plays Rachael Ghoul, and that was by the way, Sublime. Can you do that? Like, oh, just, it was like, can you just voice Rachael Ghoul for the rest of my natural life, that'd be great.

Um, stellar cast. Um, once in the animations close to the other Cooper Arts, um, this group, the, the, uh, oh, voice of Deathstroke, of all fucking people. You did a great job. Thomas Gibson.

You know, you watch Cramble Mine. Oh, yeah, I know exactly, Thomas. But yeah, for those of you that don't. I don't watch a lot of Cramble Mine, but let's be honest here.

That's what I do instead of doing anything else. Who knows, that don't. There was a show. He plays Hodges on Cramble Mine.

Uh, no, that is, the name is based on his first name or something. It's Hodges, anyway, go ahead, sir. Uh, some, uh, uh, of our age would know him as Greg from Darma and Graham. Um, but yeah, I mean, just killer voice work.

Once again, you know how much I love Deathstroke, so that's what happened in it. And he has both eyes at the beginning. I was like, well, how'd they get Remedy of that? And they do.

Very, very, lovely for a cartoon. It was, it was really good. I highly recommend it. Um, I, I, Damien Bwayne is one of those characters I love to hate.

Um, I, I much prefer, uh, Dick Grayson, Nightwing. I prefer, uh, uh, Tim Drake Robin. Um, but Damien Waine was, was really interesting when Dick Grayson became Batman. He had kind of a funny Batman and the really serious Robin, like, they kind of switched personalities.

They're awesome. But the great Morrison Batman run went, uh, after Bruce Wayne is, um, kind of taking out of the equation from, uh, Dark Side to Mega, uh, Beams. Uh, I highly recommend you, other than the artnet is, uh, Frank Quitely and just, he really upped his game on that one. We talked about Frank Quitely last week and how much I like him as well.

So, um, but an interesting side note, I can't really read this up to you, and we can discuss it super quick. In the show, in the movie, Batman faces off against Deathstroke. That's an interesting who would win. There's too many variables.

I can't do good with it. I would imagine Batman is a superior fighter. I mean, like, late land, planning, proper game. Well, they're both, they're both expert tacticians.

Yeah, exactly. Um, the only thing, the only- It's like element of surprise. Mmm, yeah, I hope that- Yeah, Batman would have stealth, but, uh, but, uh, Wilson, as you know, uh, you know it as Miracou, but I mean from the government serums that were tested on him, he's got the hand sense. He's got the hand sense.

He's a healing factor. He's almost 100% of his brain. He's faster. Like, it's one of those where I'm like, that kind of, I would say kind of balances out of the stealth- that means, like, natural stealth abilities.

Yeah. So it's just a matter of that, like, Captain America, like, Deathstroke's body doesn't create Atlantic accent, so he doesn't suffer from muscle fatigue as Batman would. That's the only edge I would give Deathstroke. So he's not the leader?

That man would probably, because he's kind of a asshole, probably exploit the fact that, um, Deathstroke only has 50% of his peripheral vision. So I'm just- Oh, sorry, so there's a very little image of Batman, just backing him from the side. Yep, but we're taking him from the right, or like, just going, hahaha! It's like, can't see me now, can't hear!

Well, that means talks in the rooms, Batman. Where's Ninja cover? Well, that's a new name. There's one where I thought a demotervation with both of its Batman on the streets.

I think I had the comic for a while, but it's just, it says, the whole capture of his Batman. World's greatest detective, and the picture, and this is accurate from a comic, it's Batman in the middle of the street with a, like, a bullhorn boy. Has anyone seen The Joker? Which was in, if you read it, it's Alex Melive's, um, run on during the No Man's Land.

I mean, it's like, I know exactly, but it's- Has anyone seen The Joker? Batman, World's greatest detective? Take this out of context, it's going to be hilarious. Batman, let me get your dick off.

You're gonna be like that one? Yes, yes I do. So I have a note on here that I don't understand. Batman versus Deathstroke.

You already got that? Okay. So on to our more of our super-curation against. Let's talk about shields.

Um, Shield at this point is Colson and his team are set up to survive. They have no idea that Ward is a double agent, could be triple. Um, Bill Paxton is awesome as the bad guy. I love it.

Um, I'm hoping that Victoria Hand is not dead because she is what's gonna care to why love to hate. Um, but yeah, basically they've, that shield team has gotten to kind of a secret base. All of a sudden, it's really neat, it's very super-spy. Sorry, I got your say.

Colson's like, give me all your badges, we're just gonna, you know, be very useless now. Yeah, because- And then his lights up and he's like, their coordinates must be theory, and he's like, it's theory. I finally understand now though why they renewed Shield so quickly for a second season. Because they had this in the chamber.

They had the full- They might have had something. I was gonna say they had the, you know, it's gonna say shield being basically torn down because of the infiltration of hyper. They had that in the chamber. Does that just have America been in production maybe a year?

Yeah, okay. When I said that, I finally understand why, especially with kind of the downslope in the ratings, it's starting to go back. Well, like I said, why they renewed it so they're cool. It went up when they did the crossover with Thor 2.

It went up when they had Lady Sif, guest star. I'm sure, I have a little numbers. I'm sure I can't do it week to week. Yeah, especially now that it's like all about double agent secret agents.

Who's Hydra who Shield, you know? Rayleigh Oda is Hydra. What is that from? No, no, I just like after they had Dury Shambling, I'm like, you know, the next person I would have as a double agent in politics, I would cast Rayleigh Oda.

Interesting. That actually can't happen because Rayleigh Oda plays himself in a Gulag in Muppets too. Rayleigh Oda and Denny Trejo play themselves in a Russian Gulag. They are the henchmen of the Prison King, played by what's his name?

Flight of the Conchords. Not Brad. Jerome, is it Jerome? No.

Yeah. No, not Jerome. What the fuck is his name? I don't know.

I thought I wanted to talk about Flight of the Conchords. We were just talking about it. Isn't it Brad and Jerome? It's not Jerome, is it?

Is it Jerome? Not Jerome. Crap. Internet correctness.

Yeah, it's not Jerome though. Jermaine. Jermaine Cleven. You're right, it's Jermaine.

I was like, hey, what are you doing? He's a... I'm Ash, it's an Ash at this day, but though he's from 1988. I'm at Makeup on Face.

I'm going to a funky party. Do you want to come? You're not invited. I'm a stroke.

Damn it. Do you have one scene in space? It's in the changes. It changes.

Still one of my favorite songs of all time. I think I did it in Ringtown. Does the call of space making nipples go up pointing David Bowie? Do you have to add a black earth?

I bet you do. You freakin' old bastard you. We left one of the Concordes at Red Rocks. I was like, no, no, we can't leave them.

I was like, let's just beat the rush out here. We're gonna play Bowie then. We're gonna play Bowie. First song as we're walking out on the Encore.

Bowie, I was like, yo, fucking assholes. Can you miss Bowie? No, Bowie. Okay, sorry, can you stop?

So, I'm on a root test at 28 against Devin Duck. Watch cartoons. So it just happens when we record at Saturday morning. And normally by the time you get here and start setting up, it's the end of Dragon Ball Z in the beginning of Yu-Gi-Oh!

No, we missed Dragon Ball Z. But we were watching Yu-Gi-Oh! and then it went into Digimon. However, I didn't even notice when it did Digimon.

I was still stuck going. It was Digimon and then it was Yu-Gi-Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're making really good fun of Yu-Gi-Oh!

Why do they name these fucking characters? Because we were not even sold train dragons. You mean sold train dragons? Yeah, you were never convinced it was named sold train dragon.

With a flowing vagina? It's opulating. It's opulating. There was sold train dragons.

There was one other one where I was like, oh, there was a human zombie. You and I was just like, what is it? We ran out of names around season two. I summon Timmy.

Timmy. He's the, I was gonna say he's the told-the guy. He's the told-the guy. He's the told-the guy.

He just flicks a cigarette at you. It's a tiny fireball. Okay. Dig move, Timmy.

Dig move. That's what the guy that could control the other creature. One second. I summon Timmy.

Like, dig move, Timmy. Dig move. But yeah, we've, we're not gonna say we're thinking maybe instead of watching movies and making fun of them. It'll just be recording of you and I watching Sam.

Just doing that, just doing this, watching like this like mid 90s anime. And you and our, like, like I said, you and I are talking about the writer's room. Or it's like, well, what is he made out of fire? What is he made out of fire?

Fire swords? I don't know, fire swords? You know, fire swords? Fire sword on.

You know, if we put gold on it, they can put gold foil on the cards and charge $10 extra. Ooh! Gold fire sword. Good idea, Doug.

I got from looking at our bonus from Capcom this night. Tops. Um, tops to exist. I have no idea.

Somebody might have to go to Tang out of websites blown away. Tang is a website? Totally. Everybody knows growing boys need Tang.

I used to take reasons and shake them at a bag of Tang. What? It tastes good. They're going to eat the reasons they were coated in Tang.

God can't be good for you. What? Do you even know what Tang's made out of? He said didn't get to space.

Oh, he meant to, uh, Spider-Man. Spider-Man? That's whatever. Spider-Man.

Oh, he never spends the bimavial thing. He's speaking of superhero lyrics. So, once we were off the air last week with Dave, we ended up talking, feeling in-depth a little bit more about the death in the family story. The death in the family where Jason Todd is is killed.

She's being raped and killed. Possibly. It's allegedly inferred. Oh, you know, it's okay.

It's only inferred rape. It doesn't matter. I wish people could see my face when I say inferred rape. Did you rape me?

Maybe. Well, that was an awkward conversation between Batman and Talia. No. Oh, it's in there where it's like you go, like, you remember how moonlight electricity goes?

What I do remember. It's like you're like, oh my God, it's really implying that he was heavily drugged. I can do that when he's heavily drugged. Good on you, Batman.

Yeah. Kind of looking in perfection. I mean, if you're going to fall straight, you know, the first batman boner is always going to make me laugh. Well, now I've got the bat goners in the sky.

I was going to say if you're going to fall flat first onto a bat bone or that would be the one to do it to. Anyways, so you're feeling me? No, you're feeling me out on the death and the story timeline and how Justin ended up becoming Robin. Jason, this is not what I was going to correct.

So I will step in and always connect on character's own names. No, it's not a big deal. They might. I'll leave their own name.

Do you believe? Did you believe? I was using a jab grenade. You're going to say, well, we're not going to do it both.
