In this episode, we change pace a little from our normal format and we interview one of our own: George Hayworth. George shares his story of childhood trauma, life in the military, marriage, fatherhood and how he and his wife fought through severe challenges to remain married. Part 1 of George's story chronicles his life and the internal struggles he carried from childhood into adulthood. After many failures and causing a great deal of harm to his family, George brought his flaws into the light and started on the path to healing. George fell prey to what is called emotional or covert incest. Two books that describe this in great detail are Silently Seduced and Healing the Wounded Heart.
