We have two theatre lovers from Tweed & Co in the Studio today. Tweed & Co Theatre is a registered charity and is a creator and producer of original Canadian musical theatre, as well as quality professional grassroots regional theatre. They operate the Marble Arts Centre in Tweed and the Village Playhouse in Bancroft. They have spent over 14 years bringing theatre and musicals to magical rural areas.Tim Porter is the Artistic Director and grew up in Tweed and had his first job at Poplars Golf Course. After high school, he went to St. Lawrence College for Musical Theatre Performance. He returned to Tweed and founded Tweed & Co Theatre in the Fall of 2009 with a mandate to create more Canadian musical theatre. Emily Mewett is originally from Stirling and went on to complete the Ryersn Theatre production program.
