#46.Living in a Circle -with Moana Pearl

Today I’m in conversation with Moana Pearl. Moana is a culture activist, ritual maker, mother and dreamer of a new paradigm.  She supports women to reclaim and remember their inherent relationship to Earth, spirit and the Sacred Feminine. For decades she has been involved with women's circles, as a facilitator, educator, and participant. This is how I first met her, many years ago in a women’s retreat. As a family counsellor, menstrual educator, and community builder her deep connection with the natural world is reflected in a grounded and compassionate approach to life’s challenges. Moana offers programs for mothers and their adolescent daughters, to welcome young girls into womanhood. She offers workshops and mentoring  for women's personal development. Inspired by the connections between psychology, physiology and cultural influences, and the spaces in between, Moana provides a space for nurturance, authenticity, inquiry and compassion. We talked about listening, sitting in circles , making a different mark on the Earth, changing our neuropathways, the importance of keeping the questions, the call to be initiated, crone-hood, elderhood, community and connection, and so much more.
