Kari and Tory are back and heading right into the deep topics. Kari is here after a whirlwind national parks tour, and after a brief time and place update, Kari and Tory talk psychedelics.

You've heard right. In this episode, Kari and Tory talk through the questions you shared. Questions like: Are psychedelics safe? Are they natural? What does microdosing mean? Are they scary? What happens if you have a bad trip? Also, they explain why they call psychedelics medicine, the difference between ceremonial grade and microdosing, and how to build a conscious community to support you.

Kari and Tory's experiences with this medicine have amplified their lives, added more color, and even improved their relationship. In the future, the podcast will bring on facilitators, doctors, and experts to explore this topic more.

If you want to start learning more before future episodes, watch Fantastic Fungi or How to Change Your Mind (based on the Michael Pollan book), both on Netflix.

AND there is a new text community for this podcast! If you want to speak directly to Kari and Tory, send a hi, emoji, literally anything to 1-619-566-7722. They can't wait to hear from you!

ABOUT THIS FEELS IMPORTANT

This Feels Important explores the hairy, scary, weird, and sometimes the orgasmic journey of navigating our ever-evolving relationships with self, others, and the world around us.

Your hosts, Kari Keating and Tory Dube - along with a lineup of epic guests - open the floor for honest discussions about the taboo feels (sex! money!), the painful feels (miscarriages! divorce! grief!). But, of course, the fun feels (psychedelics! sex again!) are inevitable, necessary, and freaking important as we all navigate the highs, lows, and in-betweens of the human experience.

Commentary on the Epistle to the Romans, A by John Calvin (1509 - 1564) LibriVox Of all commentators I believe John Calvin to be the most candid...He was no trimmer and pruner of texts. He gave their meaning as far as he knew it. His honest intention was to translate the Hebrew and the Greek originals as accurately as he possibly could, and then to give the meaning which would naturally be conveyed by such Greek and Hebrew words: he laboured, in fact, to declare, not his own mind upon the Spirit's words, but the mind of the Spirit as couched in those words. Dr. King very truly says of him, "No writer ever dealt more fairly and honestly by the Word of God. He is scrupulously careful to let it speak for itself, and to guard against every tendency of his own mind to put upon it a questionable meaning for the sake of establishing some doctrine which he feels to be important, or some theory which he is anxious to uphold. This is one of his prime excellencies. He will not maintain any doctrine, however orthodox and essential, by a text of Scripture which to him appears o Peace, Happiness, & Healing Co. I am a survivor of PTSD & Survivors Remorse. I want this podcast to be a place where nobody feels judge about their mental health of actions that they have taken after thinking they are not able to deal with. In the end I MATTER, YOU MATTER, & most importantly WE MATTER. I hope this podcast can help anyone to better understand themselves and realize that you are not alone in the world when it comes to mental health issues. Everyone is important.
