#46: Something Changed

from Greatest Day Podcast · host Craig Smith

Something changed..... Change is rarely one of these huge moments in time where we wake up and are forever different. Yes, some of those events happen, but change is more likely to be long lasting when it’s been building up for some time. I have been on this personal growth journey (seriously) for the past 5 years. I have moments of consistency and great discipline but they’ve never stayed for more than a couple months at a time. I recently connected with Brad @thesoberbodybuilder and went on his and Michelle’s @mykeylife @keynutrition podcast and something clicked. (I recommend you go listen to episode 165 right now) I sent Brad a message and told him it was time for my body to reflect the work I put into it. It was time for the hard work I put in on my heart, mind, and soul to shine through the body. Since that moment (a week prior to our episode airing) I have been on point with my routines, discipline, and the greatest Key 🔑 of them all, my gratitude practice. Even as the creator of a gratitude journal, my practice is not always great. I’ve put special attention on my morning journaling and gratitude over the past 2 months and everything else in my life is better because of it. Gratitude, my physical health, and service to others (spirituality) are some of my Keys 🔑 to the work I do and the progress I make. If you are looking for someone to help you align these things, leave out the BS of the fitness industry and give you genuine, and personable feedback about how to get your body, nutrition and mindset right, follow my brother Brad 👉🏻👉🏻 @thesoberbodybuilder . So....What are the Key elements to your success. Think back to when you’ve been on top of life and your own journey. What things were you doing then that you can get back to now. Don’t complicate this.... choose one thing to begin again right now and commit to practicing it for the next 30 days. Comment below and save this post as a reminder of the commitment you’re making to your better self.
