465. Camille Corbett “The Island”

A beautiful Tuesday to you all! I know the focus on everyone’s mind today is the new podcast release from Discover Indie Film, right? We thought this insightful, engaging interview with the extremely talented Camille Corbett would be the perfect thing to put out on this Election Day to distract and remind everyone of the importance of art despite whatever outcome you’re hoping for. Camille brought her comedy/horror short “The Island” to the Sherman Oaks Film Festival in 2023 and took home a Programmer’s Prize – Exceptional Filmmaking. I’ll be honest… for the last year I was hoping she’d have time to record a podcast because Camille is an incredibly busy multi-hyphenate person! Writer/Director/Actor/Producer/Comedian/Model…heck, you can even add Podcaster to that list. But Camille had some time and came in person to sit down at the mics with me and we had an amazing talk.
