465: How to teach others | Colossians 3:16

from One Verse Devotional · host Matt McCarrick

Are we called to teach and train others in the Gospel and faith? Absolutely. But the Bible gives us clear guidelines, and more importantly, an attitude to have when we do it. It is never God's intent for us to blast people on social media with no context or relationship. Instead, out of the peace we find in Christ, we are called to teach and correct others in His Love with wisdom and a heart of gratitude. Colossians 3:16 literally teaches that we should be able to sing a worship song together afterward. I don't see that, too much, on Facebook!
