465 - STRATEGIC Turkey Hunting, We Doubled on Gobblers!

This week we are talking all about our recent turkey hunting success and what the keys to that success were! Jacob was able to call up 3 public land gobblers in Alabama mid morning after all the birds quit gobbling at fly down, while Andrew tagged a big gobbler at his hunting club that was staing with 4 hens. Subjects include: Why nether of these hunts would have worked out without woodsmanship The subtle details that made these hunts work out, such as knowing which areas produced more shade and which areas blocked the wind Jacob figuring out how to make a pretty good turkey call out of a straw Calling to a gobbler with multiple hens Watching hens limb-hop to a gobbler Taking the time to find the EXACT setup where you can call a longbeard into range and tons more!
