466 Longing for More!

Have you ever had the longing for more in your life? If you could have a better marriage, lose weight, get that perfect job, have your dream home, win the Powerball, life would be perfect. Longing is a yearning desire, a craving, an ache. It reminds me of that sweet tooth urge or craving. That coffee you have to have NOW or your life will be miserable. You can't suppress it. You want it badly, desperately. When you have a longing, you try and fill the void with stuff --- food, shopping, a new car, new shoes, new home. Nothing satisfies you! Longings can be relational, spiritual, physical, financial, educational, promotional. For example: What about a longing in your marriage? Your business? Your lifestyle? Your spiritual walk.  "A longing is an earthly advancement from where you are." ~ Kristianne Wargo How do you escape longing for more? The K.I.S.S. ~ Ask, Seek and Knock! "Ask and it shall be given to you, Seek and you shall find; knock and the door shall be opened." ~ Matthew 7:7  Jesus Christ longs for your more than you long for anything of this world! Pray Search your heart (What are you really scared of?)
