#47 - Busan International Film Festival, K-content (en LIFF)

Het festival van Busan is het kloppende hart van een filmland dat sinds begin deze eeuw de wereld heeft veroverd. Het is het thuishonk van sterregisseurs als Bong Joon-ho (van Parasite) en Park Chan-wook (van The Handmaiden) en een kraamkamer voor nieuwe grote namen. Niet alleen uit Zuid-Korea, maar ook daarbuiten. En niet alleen voor speelfilms, maar ook voor tv-series en documentaires.We praten er over met bezoeker, specialist, kenner, programmeur, podcastmaker en superfan Rabia Sitabi (van onder ander CinemAsia, The Cultured Curators en Ride the Omnibus). Zij bezocht het festival in 2018 en keek de afgelopen drie jaar online mee met het programma.
