47 - If it Doesn’t Challenge You, it Doesn’t Change You

from Words to Lose by · host Amy Grisdale

Losing weight the natural way is a struggle. But in that fight, you get stronger. You change. You end up a new person. You emerge from the battle ready to face the rest of your life. There are “easier” paths to weight loss now that GLP-1 injections are widely available. The problem is, the only thing they do is reduce your appetite. I know what you might be thinking. Only? That’s the answer to my problem! You may well think that, but removing your appetite artificially doesn’t treat the deeper problems. We usually overeat for a reason, whether it’s an attempt at emotional self-regulation or simply out of habit. Whatever it is, the injections can’t fix that. That’s down to you. And if you never develop better habits, you’ll be thrown into chaos when you eventually come off the medication. Here’s a great video all about GLP-1 injections called ‘I’m a Pathologist: The "Biological Cost" of Ozempic and Mounjaro’ - https://www.youtube.com/[email protected]@wordstolosebyMusicTama – Springtime SecretSuper Lofi World – Super MarioSuper Lofi World - AnimeSuper Lofi World - MinatoSuper Lofi World - SpeedrunSuper Lofi World - GamingSuper Lofi World – One PieceSuper Lofi World – Sad DaysSuper Lofi World - Sunset
