#47: Matching Outside the Match, Rural Dermatology, and the University of New Mexico Dermatology Program with Dr. Mary Logue, MD

Dr. Mary Logue taught on the Navajo reservation before attending medical school. Then, she did not match to Derm in her first match cycle and followed a nontraditional path to matching outside the match to a newly accredited program. She was chief resident and dedicated a lot to developing the curriculum and ensuring junior residents were ready for clinical practice and boards.
