47 - Patience is BS (Barbecue Sauce?) (w/Melissa Belzer)

Episode 47 is all about BBQ sauce! I kid I kid. It is actually about Rule #5 - Patience is Bullshit.  We spend this episode diving into rule 5 and why you should go full out in everything you do.  Why? You need to find out quickly if this path you are on is what you want to do or not. Having patience, thinking time just needs to go on and you will progress from promotion to promotion until you get to X in the company, then you will feel happy and fulfilled is a fool's errand.  Set yourself up to progress quickly, whether you work for someone else or for yourself. Go full throttle. You only get so many trips around the sun. I will respect you more if you go all out and then decide it isn't for you over someone that played at the edges and never figured out that if they had gone all out, they would have really liked it.  I also cover some companies that used patience to a fault and ran them straight out of business.  This goes deeper than I could in the book.
