Valerie Reyes, a 24-year-old from New Rochelle, NY, was bound, gagged, and stuffed alive into a suitcase by her ex-boyfriend, Javier Da Silva, after an altercation in her apartment in January 2019. Da Silva dumped the suitcase with her inside in a Connecticut forest, then used her debit card to steal more than $5,000 while her family desperately searched for her.
