Someone broke into our house and stole from us while we were in Nairobi, and then lied about his innocence. This whole situation broke our hearts because it was a friend—a child, someone we have walked with for many years. This is actually not an uncommon experience for us, but it breaks us just the same every time.From a place of deep grief and not knowing what to say for days, I came across the story of Elisha and Gehazi, which helped me put words to the message I preached here.
