We have to be proactive in these conversations, helping them stand firm in their identity before the world really tries to confuse them. 2. What Marriage Is REALLY About Marriage isn't just about being happy—it's about fulfilling God's purpose for your life together. So many people go into marriage with unrealistic expectations and get hurt because they didn't know what to look for in a spouse. Let's help our kids understand the beauty and purpose of marriage before they start dating, so they can make wise choices! 3. Setting Healthy Boundaries in Dating Our kids are bombarded with messages that say, "Do whatever feels good," but that's not wisdom! We need to help them understand that sex is a GIFT—but it's meant for marriage. That doesn't just mean telling them, "Don't do this, don't do that." It means giving them the tools and the why behind making those choices. When they understand the wisdom behind God's design, it makes it so much easier to live it out.
