Mel says that in  the ancient Ugaritic language about three thousand years ago the name Muhammad/ Mehmet meant desirable or precious.  Also in Sematic it meant  Barak; blessed and was meant for the Messiah.  Mel also talks about having the Name on coins with crosses on them; for example a 6th century coin in Yemen in 523 A.D. with the name Mehmet in Sabaic script.
