Wendy worked as a veterinary practicioner and project manager for various animal welfare organisations in Asia, Africa and Europe, before starting VETS UNITED in 2015. Carolin joined her in 2017, after working in small animal medicine for several years. We talk about their work at WTS (Welttierschutzstiftung), what it needs to include animal welfare into the veterinary curriculum in countries all over the world, how young and passionate people can change the system and how important language is when it comes to making teaching material accessible.
