-Bear Handlon is the CEO and founder of Born Primitive, an apparel company made for athletes of all sizes and skill levels designed to perform in those critical moments of mental and physical distress. Their apparel is developed and tested by athletes to ensure it has only the highest quality, comfort, and functionality- Prior to starting Born Primitive, he played middle linebacker at Yale University and worked on Red Bull’s marketing team for 4 years-As a way to prepare for the military, he ended up competing at the CrossFit Games in 2013 just 9 months after taking up the sport- In 2014, at the same time he started Born Primitive, he attended Officer Candidate School with the Navy and became a commissioned officer.
