48| Buried Treasure: Lot’s Unnecessary Trouble

Have you ever gone against the rules and it ended up causing you more trouble than good? Well, that happened to Lot in Genesis 19. God told Lot and his family to flee to the mountains in order to escape the punishment that was coming to Sodom. Lot begged to not go there, but instead to flee to a nearby town that was very small. The Lord granted this to Lot, and spared the town for him. But, as you’ll find out in this episode, it ended up causing Lot more trouble than good.
