48 Democracy, pure democracy in action. Or is it?

Democracy is majority rule.  Have we reached the point where the mob as seen in Minneapolis represents the majority?  Or is there still a silent majority  that sits while police murder and cities burn?  "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing" Edmund Burke.  This applies to those sitting on both sides.  If you don't demand justice for the murder of George Floyd, or for the shopkeepers who, after being devastated by the government fiats under Corona, see their businesses destroyed.  Insurance may pay off their debts, but it is unlikely they will reopen.  Good call, food desert creators.
