18 november 2019. 17-åriga Wilma är försvunnen sen tre dagar tillbaka. Föräldrarna börjar ana oråd. Polisen kopplas in och ett massivt sökpådrag sätts igång. Polisen får hjälp av frivillighetsorganisationerna Missing People och FIKK. Wilmas pojkvän hamnar tidigt i utredarnas fokus. Varför agerar han så kallt kring försvinnandet? Efter tio dagar gör teknikerna ett makabert fynd i pojkvännens lägenhet som kommer få stor betydelse. Vad har hittats? Nu börjar ett komplicerat arbete att knyta ihop trådarna och lägga pusslet. Har polisen vad som krävs för att fälla förövaren? Hur kommer tingsrätten och senare hovrätten se på bevisningen? Hasse Aro har pratat med Sten-Rune Timmersjö, gruppchef för polisens avdelning för grova brott i Fyrbodal som tog sin an fallet.
