48c. America (Part 3) | America's Place in World History

In today's episode, we continue our series on America by investigating the story of the rise and fall of the Inca civilization of Peru. Things begin with a recap of the "Cycle of the Arya" thesis that I've been exploring throughout this year-long book project on Philosophy. Then, we zoom in and look at the Inca as a case study of this larger pattern. We finish with a discussion of the psychology of race, comparing and contrasting it with that of "the nation".As I argue, the democratic "nation" is inherently post-racial, as it is premised upon the mixing of races and the development of cooperative initiative.
