In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:1) The murder of Doris Warrell and how her husband was finally apprehended 20 years later after he fled the country to Costa Rica with the nanny and his two children.2) How Karen Read was acquitted of murdering her boyfriend, a police officer, in Boston after the first trial was ruled a mistrial and the sloppy and unprofessional investigation that ensued by detectives investigating the death of one of their own. 3) Stu’s encounters with panhandlers on NYC streets, one of whom admitted to him that he wasn't really a veteran, and that it was just a "gig" after Stu questions his military background.4) How a shady real estate investor, Shepard (Shep) Morgan, is converting a commercial hotel, the Larchmont, into a homeless shelter on a historically land marked street (West 11th Street) in Greenwich Village in exchange for generous tax exemptions and city funds for the shelter.
