49. Keeping Up with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry [w/ Dr. Sal Lotardo]

He completed a General Practice Residency at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, before furthering himself in the profession of dentistry. Dr. Lotardo currently serves as the President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and achieved his AACD Accreditation status in 2014. He is the owner of Bella Smiles Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, located in Riverhead, Roslyn and Nesconset, NY. He has over 30 years of clinical experience, and has accumulated more than 1,000 hours of continuing education (CE) in the past four years to stay current on dental techniques and technology.  In addition to mastering his skills in General Dentistry, Dr. Lotardo expands his scope in the field of implant dentistry, as well as orthodontics. He is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the American Orthodontic Society, and is an Adjunct Professor at Briarcliffe College.  The AACD is an international professional association comprised of approximately 5,000 dental professionals dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of comprehensive cosmetic dentistry and encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care. Delivering your patient is an esthetic outcome is a critical component to success. However, esthetic trends and techniques in cosmetic dentistry change over the years.
