One is continually bombarded by events, other people, our families and all of the thoughts of survival that play with our consciousness both from within ourselves, and from around us. All of these things challenge our sense of security. We wonder whether it is safe to ‘try’ to be ourselves or not. Your body start to resist the onslaught that seems to be threatening you. You shut down, you hide your pureness, your innocence deep inside, all the time wondering whether this is a real or a perceived attack.
