America, you in danger, girl! In this special 4th of July episode of the Late Learner Podcast, I take on the big issues around our freedoms in the U.S., especially with recent political events and Supreme Court rulings. I start with a look at the meaning of Independence Day and the freedoms our ancestors fought for, but also voice my worries about the current state of our liberties.We revisit a fiery discussion from when Roe v. Wade was overturned, stressing the need for action over just expressing outrage. I break down four key steps to make an impact: energizing people, getting deeply organized, having a detailed plan, and gathering resources.
