The guidance of the Holy Spirit comes through with a deep feeling of peace, comfort, and blessings. The Holy Spirit is soft and gentle, never commanding or demanding, and leaves it up to the mind to follow. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit's guidance can be unexpected, leading to a reaction from the ego with doubt-thoughts. The ego focuses on past outcomes or hoped-for future outcomes, while the Holy Spirit's guidance is practical, straight, and simple. The Holy Spirit does not provide long-range goals or plans.
