5.13.19:Colorado Democrat Resigns-Oil, Gas, Environment & The Economy-Property Rights

from The Americhicks · host The Americhicks

Welcome to the Americhicks podcast. Kim Monson is your host - Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation! Last Friday, in six different Colorado locations, the Stand for Colorado rally took place. It was a wonderful and motivating time. Thank you to all who attended. Last Tuesday there was, as we are all well aware, a shooting at the STEM school in HIghlands Ranch. And once again we are asking ourselves how we prevent this type of violence. Colorado Democrat Rep. Rochelle Galindo has resigned. She was facing a likely recall effort because of sexual misconduct allegations. The new Colorado environmental regulations are harming the oil and gas industry in the state. This will impact the job market and the economy in a very negative way. Colorado's Tax Payers Bill of Rights (TABOR) remains under a sustained assault. Who said this and what does it mean? “In a word, as a man is said to have a right to his property, he may be equally said to have a property in his rights.” It was James Madison, one of America’s Founders and the 4th President of the United States. Roger Bianco, fellow Leadership Program of the Rockies grad, and Kim have a conversation about property and why property rights are important. ________________________________________________ Copyright 2019: The Americhicks W/Kim Monson Visit us at www.americhicks.com To have someone contact you about advertising on the radio program, the podcast, or the Americhicks website visit:www.americhicks.com/contact and fill out the form.
