5.19 Caleb, Zimri, Cozbi, Baal, Beelzebub

This episode continues the deep dive into the Book of Numbers, again focusing on a few of the people and things uncovered in the text. This week, I cover Caleb, one of the two spies sent into Canaan who returned with a positive report. I also walk through Zimri and Cozbi, the couple who were impaled by Phinehas.  Finally, I walk through the various forms of Baal, including Baal Peor, written about in Numbers, and Beelzebub, found throughout both the Old and New Testaments.
