Lennon became a nationally recognized journalist from inside prison, writing for the Atlantic, Esquire, and the New York Times. Also: The state’s school districts had been set to begin a transition to electric buses next year. Now, lawmakers say a proposal to push back that mandate will be included in this year’s state budget.
