And though it is an Old Testament Book written by an Old Testament prophet about a historic Old Testament event, It is just as much a message to a New Testament church. It decries our complacency, and it declares our course of action. Repeatedly the prophet quotes the Lord of hosts, saying, “Consider Your Ways.”
