5-24-23: All your eggs in one basket? Great!

I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast.Sometimes you hear people say things like “don’t put all your eggs in one basket” or “you had better have a back up plan.” The truth is that most people who accomplish difficult goals don’t have a “plan B.” I was going to play Major League baseball, period, end of story. If I failed I would have figured it out then but I didn’t need and I didn’t want to think about not achieving my goal. Listen to interviews with actors, musicians or successful entrepreneurs, they often talk about how they HAD to do whatever they did. That there was no other option, no back-up plan. If there was a back-up plan they would have reverted to it when things got really hard, which they always do.  So if you want to do something truly great, you’ve got to go all in. Put all your eggs in that basket, if you fail then you’ll live with knowing you did everything you could and you’ll pick yourself up and try something new. Donate to the Captain John J.
