Jared looks at the SCOTUS draft, noting that the Court heard arguments for the Mississippi abortion law in question in December, and the leaked draft was prepared in February, as such it is NOT a binding decision draft, but an example of "work product," as Justices continue to debate the issues raised in the case. A final decision is not expected until June, and that decision may or may not be consistent with this early draft. What is of more immediate concern to the Court is how this document came to be available to the public, and there may be an official statement from the Chief Justice about that, not about the decision itself.
