5.31.26 // 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

Pastor Lance talks about how the imminent return of Christ should prompt believers to live a life of expectancy, especially when it comes to the attacks of the enemy. He reminds us that, as believers, we are to be alert and mindful of eternal realities, and that God has changed our appointment that we once had for judgment and wrath to one of salvation. We must guard ourselves against the enemy's lies, disappointment, worldliness, fear, anxiety, unforgiveness, and more! Instead, we must encourage and comfort the believers around us.
