During this walk, Jasmine teaches us all about digital communities. A former college athlete and McNair scholar, Jasmine is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on Black digital cultures, online dating, and sports. What are the key markers of "Black Twitter?" What are the experiences of Black women on dating apps? Why should digital studies be including in NIL education, especially Black college athletes?! What in the world is Black digital world building?!
